Exciting Changes Are Cooking at The Curious Kitchen!
After 12 wonderful years of cooking classes, catering, and creating delicious memories, The Curious Kitchen is moving to its forever home.
We’ve purchased a property at 2561 E. Compton Road in Murfreesboro. Our new location will offer a more personal, welcoming experience, complete with a garden and plenty of opportunities for fresh inspiration in the kitchen.
Our East State Street location is now closed, and we will not be adding any new classes to our calendar until our Grand Reopening in Spring 2027. In the meantime, we’re hard at work remodeling and preparing our new kitchen, and we can’t wait to share it with you!

Cooking Classes for Everyone
Join us for a hands-on culinary experience at The Curious Kitchen! Our cooking classes are designed for all skill levels and offer a fun, engaging, and delicious three-hour experience. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned home cook, you’ll feel right at home in our kitchen.
Each class begins around our custom-built instructional table, where guests gather for an up-close introduction to the techniques and menu. From there, everyone cooks together as a team, with each participant working at their own station to help bring the meal to life.
Our classes are intentionally limited to ensure a high-quality, hands-on experience. Once the cooking is complete, guests gather around the table to relax and enjoy the meal they’ve created together.
Our calendar offers something for everyone – from Baking 101 and fresh pasta making to sushi rolling and date night experiences. We offer classes for adults, kids, and families, including a Beginner Series for those just getting started.
For parents, our Kids Cooking Classes are drop-off, giving young chefs the chance to build confidence and independence in the kitchen. You’re welcome to return about 15 minutes before the end of class to sample what they’ve prepared. We also offer Family Cooking Classes for those who prefer to cook together.
The Curious Kitchen provides all ingredients, equipment, and aprons to wear during class—just bring yourself and your appetite! Classes start at $75 per adult and $60 per child.
Private Cooking Classes & Team Building
Private cooking parties are a fun and unique way to bring friends, family, and co-workers together for a memorable night of cooking and dining. Each private class is reserved exclusively for your group, creating a relaxed and personalized experience from start to finish.
Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, planning a team building event, or simply gathering for a fun night out, we’ll help you create an experience everyone will enjoy. Just choose your menu, pick a date and time, and we’ll take care of the rest!
Private parties require a minimum of 10 participants.
